Are you unimpressed with the MS Word “Save” screen? After hitting Ctrl+S to save a new document, you see the screen below. I personally don’t care for it. I prefer the old method that went directly to a Windows Explorer folder view. I don’t find “Recent Folders” that helpful for me and it takes me an extra mouse click (on “Browse”) to get to folder view.
The work around? Use the F12 button to take you immediately to a Windows Explorer view to save your document.
